Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport on your flight from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet your local Tibetan guide and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa.

Spend the remainder of the day resting and adjusting to the high altitude. Drink plenty of fluids, avoid strenuous activity, and allow your body time to acclimatize before beginning sightseeing.

Begin your exploration of Lhasa with a visit to the magnificent Potala Palace, one of Tibet's most recognizable landmarks. Discover its historic halls, chapels, murals, and traditional Tibetan architecture.

Continue to Jokhang Temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Tibetan Buddhism. Later, walk around Barkhor Market, where you can observe local customs, traditional handicrafts, and the daily activities of Tibetan pilgrims.

Continue discovering Tibet's spiritual and cultural heritage with visits to Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.

Drepung Monastery was once one of the largest monastic institutions in Tibet and remains an important center of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. At Sera Monastery, learn about monastic education and, when available, observe the monks' traditional philosophical debates.

Return to your hotel after sightseeing and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Leave Lhasa and travel west across the Tibetan Plateau toward Shigatse. Enjoy views of mountain ranges, wide valleys, traditional villages, and the striking landscapes of the region.

Depending on the confirmed route and road conditions, you may stop at scenic viewpoints along the way. Upon arrival in Shigatse, check into your hotel and relax.

After breakfast, continue your journey toward Shegar, also known as Tingri, across the expansive Tibetan Plateau.

Enjoy changing landscapes of rugged mountains, open plains, traditional settlements, and distant Himalayan peaks. The drive offers opportunities to appreciate the distinctive scenery and remote character of western Tibet.

Upon reaching Shegar, settle into your accommodation and prepare for the following day's excursion to Everest Base Camp.

Today's journey takes you toward the northern side of Mount Everest, one of the most memorable highlights of the tour.

Travel through the dramatic Himalayan landscape to Rongbuk Monastery, situated near the north face of Everest. From the designated access point, continue to the permitted Everest Base Camp viewing area, where you can admire the enormous mountain, surrounding peaks, and sweeping views of the Tibetan Plateau.

Spend time taking photographs and appreciating the extraordinary surroundings before beginning the return journey to Shigatse for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, travel back to Lhasa through the beautiful landscapes of central Tibet.

Enjoy the final views of the plateau, traditional villages, and mountain scenery along the route. Once in Lhasa, check into your hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing, shopping for souvenirs, or exploring nearby streets at your own pace.

After breakfast, transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for your onward flight, concluding your 8-day journey through Tibet.
